Media Player 10 Installation
We have used EDP to successfully package and deploy Media Player 10.. however one thing I can't seem to fix, is the numerous shortcuts placed on the desktop, Start/Programs, etc. There are no shortcuts in the All Users profile, or Default Profile, and they are not defined in the MSI, and yet, when a new profile is created, sure enough, Media Player shortcuts appear all over it. We are really looking for a clean desktop..
Anyone come across this, and find out how to stop it happening.

If I have correctly understood your problem, then you should check your components list once again. Also you may go to MSI Script - Execute Immediate and delete the field "Create Shortcuts" .
