Mavericks sleeping too deeply - going offline

I have switched between hibernate modes 0, 3 and 25 and had no difference. I would rather not put the Macs to never sleep, since they're idle 16 hours a day. All other Macs from Leopard to Mountain Lion sleep and wake up properly to KBOX, pings, and SSH. It would be a shame if Apple broke something like this with all the "green" initiatives going on.
Mavericks is apparently working for others here, how do you have it set to sleep?

  • What do you mean by machines are going offline when they are asleep? I don't think any versions will continue checking in to KACE when they are sleeping. - chucksteel 9 years ago
