K2000 deploying image with dual monitors

Hi there,

Is there a best way to set your master image prior to capturing the image that will allow dual monitors to function.  At present when I deploy my image only a single monitor is detected.  In order to get my second monitor to be detected I have to install monitor driver and then run windows updates to detect ATI driver at which point the second monitor is there.

Kind regards

Simon

This behaviour appears to be linked to the vendor drivers as Windows 7 (which I assume you are using) is pretty good at seeing dual monitors (NVidea video card). I do not recall having to install any additional drivers to have both monitors operational.  Having just re-read your posting, can I ask whether you are adding the correct ATI driver via your master image, or just relying on native driver support in the operating system?  This may have a bearing on your issue.

  • Hi

To be honest I may need to look the drivers on the original image so you are probably right there, I think that is where I am going wrong. Will update master image and then then recapture/deploy

    Thanks
