Installing .msi's in Win7 under a standard user account

This may just be heresay, but someone told me there was a way to install an .msi in Windows 7 as a standard user without having to enter admin credentials. I've searched and searched and I found out how to prevent the UAC popup, but I can't find anything about how to install as a standard user. Has anyone heard of that before? Thanks.

The package needs to be a per-user installation meaning not to write outside of the user's profile or HKCU registry hive.
