Install shield is option to create appv packages. It’s means that it’s capable to create APPV compatible packages? What is difference in case if we use APPV sequence & it’s possible to convert vendor MSI + MST  re package into APPv packages

Installshield can convert your own developed application package into an AppV. The AppV works just as any AppV build with the sequencer.

If you do repackaging you can not use InstallShield but have to use AdminStudio with Virtualization Pack.

AdminStudio can automatically convert your apps (msi-mst) into AppV's with the Automated Application Converter (AAC)
