Information needed for "LANDesk_RemoteConsole_9SP3_EN"
Hi Everyone,
Currently we have App-V packaging request for Landesk remote console.
it's a 4.5 gb source, and we are not able to install it on vmware machine, we might need to install it on physical machine.
We have below doubts.
1. Should we package this app as an APP-V?
2. If not APP-V then what would be the best way to install this app? Silent installation?
3. If anyone has done silent installation in the past then please provide silent commandline and other details.

To determine on App-v or not you should first manage to get it installed on a vmware or physical machine.
Regarding other silent installs methods, I did a quick google search and found this http://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-9644
Even though the source is 4.5 Gb, I really doubt the remote console installation is that massive. The installer must contain more than the remote console.
If not APP-V? I'd say it depends on the source. Can you extract an MSI from the source? Is it an Installshield? If it's not possible to extract an MSI, then you could probably create a response file.
