Hi, I'm packaging IE 7 and have a few questions.
I've created an IESetup.msi. The msi that has been created by the development kit just contains 1 custom action that runs the setup.exe that is held in the binary table.
I need to apply a transform to this msi to allow branding to be applied to the registry on install and the removal of these keys on uninstall. The setup.exe that is being executed by the msi installs but adds its own settings to the registry in [HKLM]\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Uninstall. Therefore on uninstall no keys are being uninstalled by the msi because the uninstall is running spuninst.exe.
Can the transform be altered to allow msiexec.exe to be run on an uninstall instead of it only running the spuninst.exe?
