How do I access cached MSI with patched overlaid?
Hi,
My requirement is to access a cached MSI (C:\Windows\Installer\) to query some custom tables. The tables in the MSI have been modified over time by patches. If I try to access the MSI from a custom action then I only get to query and base MSI and the information in the patches is lost.
Is there an API that enables me to access a Product's cached MSI along with its patches overlaid???
