Scripting Question

How can I search within a Custom Inventory Rule (CIR)

04/02/2020 280 views

I have a CIR to pull all wireless profiles using "netsh wlan show profiles".  What I would like to do is find all laptops that do not have a particular SSID configured.

A smart label with the following logic would be perfect.  This way I could tell what laptops need our corporate wireless profile pushed to them.

Device Advanced Search:

Chassis Type                 =                     Laptop                             and

{Wireless CIR}   does not contain     "{Corporate SSID}"

You can use the smart label wizard to do exactly that as you want.
You need the CIR and then simply search this CIR

  • OK, it was buried at the bottom of that long list to scroll through. Since CIR's are listed under software, I was looking under Software. I scrolled down but not enough. Thanks.
