How can I force a K1000 to "replicate" to a remote DP?

How can I force my replication share to update at a remote site?

We have a working replication DP, but it had some *.part files that I deleted today. I'd like to force replication, but don't see any option to do so. I bumped up the replication schedule to high, but nothing yet and we'd like to see if things are working.

I don't see a button or option to force it in my browser.

force an inventory from the k1000 replication screen for the servers you set the window on high to run

  • this in the help also

All the replication items are first listed in the replication queue and then copied one at a time to the destination path. Any new replication item is first listed in the replication queue and then copied after an interval of 10 minutes - SMal.tmcc 7 years ago
    • Ok. My repl share is getting updates. The files were updated last night and after I deleted some older *.part files, it received a few more files.

The clients at the remote site (155 total), returned "error (Handshaked failed)" when they deployed this morning. My understanding is the only change between last and this month's patching was they linked all the machine labels (non servers) to the same schedule instead of deploying to the remote site separately. Doesn't seem like that should cause a problem though.

I have a detect-only running to 3 machines at the remote site now. I checked their local directories and the LST, OSPX and other required files are in place.

I don't know if a detect checks against the DP or if it checks the root Kbox. If the detect succeeds and a deploy fails, I guess I'll know. - murbot 7 years ago
