Help on SMS queries

I'm looking for some resources on creating more in-depth SMS queries... We've already customized our sms_def.mof, and I can already do your usual. But I'd like to find a reference for the data model so I can do things like query the package properties (say, look for packages/programs that don't have the "Suppress program notifications" flag checked) and syntax specifics so I can do date/time calculations. Anyone have some tips for me? Thanks all--

Well the reporting is very much version specific due to the interfaces provided and with the database schema always getting changed. With 2.0 you are better off getting to know SQL if you really want to do some complex reporting. Here are some links for 2.0 but if you are asking about 2003 well I haven't gone there yet but I am assuming the schema changed again.

Thanks, kkaminsk... I neglected to mentioned that we're on SMS 2003 SP1. Those tools would be quite handy for v2.0, no doubt.

Since my post yesterday I've learned a little bit more on the relationship between the underlying WMI model of SMS 2003 and querying with WQL and SQL, and hopefully this will help me take better advantage of the SDK resources. Fun stuff...!
