Help Files

I am using the Microsoft SDK Help Files for Windows Installer. If I do a ABOUT HTML HELP it says "HTML Help Control Version 5.2.3790.2847"

Within this help file I have added many things to my Favorites section.

I want to copy this Help File to my laptop so I can have all of the links I have saved under My Favorites but I can't seem to find this file anywhere. How do you copy your favorites to another machine?

I have gone as far as adding more info to the Favorites section and then done a search on my machine for any files that were changed in the past 1 day and it finds nothing.

Thanks.

I can't *quite* see what this has to do with Package Development but let me guess: your machine is connected to a network? If so, it seems likely that your Favorites folder is redirected somewhere other than your local machine, most probably your home drive. Check out HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders\

Thanks but I looked there and that is not it. In fact the machine this is happening on does not have any Home Drive at all. But, I did look on a few server shares just in case and found no files with modified dates.

Have you tried using ProcMon to see what processes are active and what file/registry activuity they're engaged in?
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
