Flash MX 2004

Hi,
I am a newbe for packaging. I am trying to make a silent installation including the registration process. I am aware that we can create an iss file and use that with the setup.exe but what I need is only in MSI format. I know its not a good idea to repackage vendor version but ia am compelled to do so. I used installshield to repackage using snapshots(before and after) by installing the app and then activating the product and registering it. but when I used msi for installing, after i launch the flash I get an error "Unable to load external importer C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Flash MX 2004\en Configuration\Importers\Fireworks Library.dll". I even tried to register the dll using regsvr32 but but it says that Dll register Server entry point not found. Can any one pls help me as I am struck up with this package.
I even tried by just merging the required entries for registration with the silent install with iss but even that dosent work. When I tweaked out that particular dll from programfiles and then launch the application, I wont get the dll error.

Did you validate your MSI ?

Try installing your MSI package on a clean machine, then doing a pre snap. Remove your repackaged install then install then vendor package (inc registration) then do a post snap. This will show any differences between your repackaged install and the vendor install and should point you in the right direction...

Good luck,
Rob.
