Error message after reboot after uninstalling application
I have an application that was created by vendor with Installshiedl 7.0; After I uninstall the application, and reboot, I recieve the following message:
C:\Progra~1\Instal~1\{7527c~1}\setup.exe
Windows cannot find 'C:\Progra~1\Instal~1\{7527c~1}\setup.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To Search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.
How do I get rid of this error. I looked in the startup folder and I dont see anything that would trigger this error.
The following uninstall string is being invoked during uninstall RunDll32 C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\INSTAL~1\PROFES~1\RunTime\0701\Intel32\Ctor.dll,LaunchSetup "C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{7527C022-BF9B-4EBE-9332-75F3170B4749}\setup.exe" -l0x9 -uninst
On a side note, I tried to run the uninstall with -s to make it silent but was not able to do so. I tried also created a setup.iss and trying to silently uninstall it that way but was never able to make it silent. Finally settled with using Winbath..
Any insight with both of these issues will be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Have a look in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
or
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
for the command, it's probably being launched from there - delete it before reboot to stop the error...
Hope it helps,
Rob.
Edit: Could also be under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\etc
