We are currently using GPOs, but if you want to use the registry then create a reg key for

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones

This link will explain more of the settings that you can set here.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/182569

I would create your settings then export the key. From their choose how you want to deploy the .reg file using Kace.

No script needed, use group policy objects (GPOs) to manage IE add-ons.

  • P.S. if you cannot use GPOs everything GPOs do is a registry edit. Just research what keys are modified and do a simple REG IMPORT during login or whatever.
  • i am trying to set it up in kace
