DOES VENDOR MSI UPDATE SYSTEM32?

Does a vendor supplied MSI naturally updates the system32?

Any suggestion will do.

I don't think there is enough information to say yes or no. MSI's don't normally update the system32 unless a particular file needs to be installed there. However, many installations will throw their dll's into the system32 (which is not good practice) because they can rely on the path statement already being setup so their programs can find them.

So in short, who knows? You can use an MSI editor to view the contents of the package and see if anything gets placed there.
