Deployment Tools
Hi Guys, I’m looking for a tool that will be able to deploy, msi, exe, vbs, bat files also a tool that will take remote VPN users into account. Any recommendations? A little about the environment. Sites in London, South Africa, Qatar, Singapore, Perth, and Austin. We have IT Admins in London, Austin and Singapore and VPN points in Austin, London and Singapore. In total we have about 200 users globally. All running Windows XP SP2

You may want to look at Specops Deploy. It should be able to do everything you mentioned.
For VPN users, I believe it can use BITS to copy the deployment files, then execute them.
We recently switched from Zenworks to Specops, and we've been pretty happy.

I would suggest looking at Install Solutions suite of tools but especially the Remote Software Installation Utility. The tools are great for an environment your size. There is not client to install (and not client license cost either) and you can deploy and get results instantly. It works for VPN clients too as long as you can manage them when they are logged in.
