Deployment of Apple Itunes iTunes 12.1.1.4-Issue trying to get to preferences.

Looks like Apple decided to break their installers-Or was this be design?  here is what I am seeing:
iTunes now names their 64bit version Itunes6464setup.exe
When you crack it open there are now two version of the Apple application Support  (one assuming a x86 and another x64)
they have changed the names of AppleMobiledeviceSupport and Itunes to x6464

But that's not the problem,
now when I script out the install:
AppleApplicationSupport64.msi /qb
AppleMobileDeviceSupport6464.msi /qnb
Bonjour64.msi /qb
itunes6464.msi /qb

Then go into Itunes to configure it, I click on preferences, and the whole application freezes for a period of about 5  minutes.
This behavior doesn't happen on a native install.
Ideas?

I ran into the same issue and found the native install also installed the 32-bit AppleApplicationSupport. I added that and the issue went away.
