Custom action run during Uninstall

Hello,

I wonder if there is a way to create a custom action that is only run during UN-install (Maybe the "condition" can trigger this??)

Please let me know, thanks in advance.

What do U mean? U could create Uninstall.vbs, that will run original uninstall.exe (unwise.exe etc.) and also make everything else U want...

There is, and it's a condition.

I think it's: REMOVE~="ALL"

But check the syntax...

Yes, that's what I mean. Run a script via a custom action and within the script the uninstall is done. Wheather this is an Uninstall of the original setup.exe, ore something else, that does not matter.
What does matter is that the script may only be run during Uninstall of the MSI, not during Install of the MSI of course.

I hope this makes things clrearer now?

You can create your custom action like always.
Just specify REMOVE as a condition. This means the custom action will be executed only at uninstall.

You can use this solution in InstallShield.
