Crystal reports 11 professional
Help guys,
first of all, thanx revizor for you reply. I was on holiday so i could not get by my e-mail.
The problem i have is crystal reports 11 professional.
What did i do:
I have made the following keys/changes in the mst file
* Property "PIDKEY" with the value *****************
* Property "Productlanguage" changed to 1043 (otherwse the msi needs the setup.exe)
* Propertie "CheckForUpdates" changed to 0 (otherwise the msi askes for webupdates)
Everything looks allright but when i take look at the hdd the crystal reports dir contains only 50 MB. The windows installer logging looks allright with me. The file is to big so i post it in a seperate thread.
When logging in as an administrator and dubbleclicking the shortcut the msi is installed properly. The error i get in the eventvwr is:
Detection of product '{7505DE9C-4E85-4636-82F0-50F38077B900}', feature 'crw' failed during request for component '{E20AD28E-5190-43BE-8897-F35DF7DF1697}'
What am i doing wrong. Is there any one that can send me a good mst file without the PIDKEY.

I don't know anything about Crystal Reports so I can't comment on the specific product installation.. but why don't you start by doing a search in your component table for {E20AD28E-5190-43BE-8897-F35DF7DF1697}?
Are those property changes the only thing in your MST? If so, there's something seriously wrong with your MST and you should start from scratch and build a new one. Or are you editing the MST that has the product language info?
How about some more info on what you're trying to do...

can anybody help me with the error in the eventviewer. It looks like a standard windows installer error but i cant see where the error is.
