Compile fail!

Hello,
I've made some changes in a MSI-file and trying to compile it again. But I get "File with key quark_cms.dbg located in the internal cabinet file Data1.cab could not be compressed. Make sure file quark_cms.dbg is in Data1.cab" for every single file in the package! It was originally a Setup.exe, Quarkxpress.msi and Data1.cab. I extracted Data1.cab and ran setup.exe and repackaged application. It works fine, but [InstallDir] definition was wrong! The application was installed on C:\Program Files\QurakXPress 6.5.2\QuarkXPress 6.5.2\. I changed the InstallDir to C:\Program Files\ and tried to compile the MSI but it won't compile. I cannot find why it asks for Data1.cab? There is no such cab any more in this package!

Thanks!

Use a transform instead and change the INSTALLDIR Directory table entry.
Could be another directory entry but the INSTALLDIR entry is often used as the default installation directory.

Another way would be to do an admin install and then recompile if you must.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
