Check if folder exists on network drive

Dear Forum,

I have just started learning deployment via MSI and I have to modify the installation of Endnote 9 so that if a folder does not exist on a network drive, I create it and I copy certain files to this folder.

Can anyone tell me what the best way to go about this would be?

Cheers

hi,

i think the best way is to make a MST file. in the MST file you can say, that you would execute a batch file and in this batchfile you can check if the folder exists otherwise you can copy the files with the command "xcopy".

hope that will help
