blackberry 4.2 install

quite confused here though i dont think i should be....

im calling \\server\apps\rim\4.2\blackberrysetup.exe /S /v USEIMI=Setup.ini /qn

and the install never runs on the machine, it seems to start and then die.....
am i doing something incorrect for the latest RIM build that is different than the old setup.exe install for 4.1

thanks for all the help

I'm assuming here that USEIMI was a typo in your base note (?) - it should be USEINI.

Also, have you tried copying down the installation folder from your server to the local machine and running setup from there instead of from the server ?

Anyone working on an MSI for this under "user rights"?

I'm working on an msi using Wise to create the mst. My problem is the tech requested the mst be created without adding BB to startup and now I want to rerun the installation with the BB in startup. When we did an earlier version we simply added the ADDLOCAL=Startup to the command line but it is not recognized in 4.2. Any suggestions shy of creating separate msts to add and remove the app from startup?
