Avoid the MSI package to be listed in the Add & Remove programs

Hello,

I am using Wininstall LE for lot of self made packages and i would like to know if with this tool it it possible to create a package that will not be listed in the Add and remove Programs ?

I'm not sure about Wininstall LE, but if it can't leave the application out of Add/Remove Programs you could always write a VB script or AutoIt script to remove the entry (it's just a Registry key).

If your creating msi's with Wininstall then just add the property ARPSYSTEMCOMPONENT to it

Thanks for the response.

If in run the package.MSI /quiet /ARPSYSTEMCOMPONENT=0 , then it works perfectly.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
