I'm still learning on the most part on our KBOX appliance and I just happened to run across something in Assets. When I clicked assets, I noticed my Helpdesk Categories appear. Now what the scary part is that, my techs may have the ability to delete them by mistake. I'm sure I can disable them from viewing the assets, but I shouldn't have to. The real question is why do they appear as assets in the first place? I've recently upgraded to 5.3 per their support advice and I'm still working with support on some issues, but I'm wondering if anyone else have noticed this or if I did something wrong. It's a tedious process adding all these categories, and if they were removed accidentially, I might have to open my 8th floor window :)

You must have imported your categories via assets at some point. You can delete them in the assets view and re-import them if you ever need them in future.

Thanks, I just tested it, and deleting it doesn't remove the categories from the helpdesk. *phew*
