app does not work when installed silent
hi,
I've extracted my vendor msi and after installing application launches fine, but when I install silently i.e with /qb in the command line, the application fails to launch its complaining about a missing license key.
So my question really is this. What affect can installing with /qb have on the actual install? What's now not running? Custom Actions maybe? I've never come across this before.

This normally means that there is a CA in the UI sequence which isn't duplicated in the Execute sequence. A log of both install types is probably your shortest route to identify the culprit.
