Software Deployment

Hi,
I am trying to create a silent install for the above product. I have found one article from adobe (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/405/kb405820.html ) however when I run this I still get the registration page and am asked for the country in which I live when it is first run. I came accross an article on this website (http://itninja.com/question/faulttree-102408&mpage=1&key=&#52408) which spoke about creating an MST and an "application.xml.override" file but I have not been able to find any information on how to create these or how to use them. As is probably obvious by this post I am new to this game and so any help/guidence would be greatly appreciated.
