Adobe Photoshop Elements 3 - Several problems HELP!
Hello Y'all,
I am trying to create an .MST for Photoshop Elements 3. The info on this site helped a lot!
At the moment I have it working under the admin user where I deployed the package.
I included the settings and the serial number and all looks OK.
However the settings are gone when I log in as a normal user.
The Adobe MSI is an InstallShield MSI and I used WPS 4.6 to make the MST.
The MSI is full of errors and several components don't even have a key defined!
I can't add the settings files to the component with the executable because this is in the MSI.
Now how kan I make sure that a repair is done for the components when a new user logs on on this PC?
The settings files are somewhere in C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Adobe and I added a HKCU dummy key in each component and set that as key item but the repair still doesn't work. Everything is in the same feature.
A second question.
I'm able to install completely silent but the original InstallShield MSI spawns two other installations (one is DirectX).
These two will always show a window with a progress bar.
Does anybody know a way to make this silent too (in my transform)?
Thanks for your help.
Marcel
