Adobe Acrobat 8.x SMS package

We currently are getting ready to deploy Acrobat 8.x to over 2000 PC's. We currently have the Display PDF in Browser active and checked as default in the SMS package. I would like to know if there is a way I can modify a registry key or use the Adobe Customization Wizard to leave the Display PDF in Browser feature active but UNCHECK the box as our default.

Good question.. I know when I wanted to do the same I ended up inadvertently disabling the option totally.

I have found out at least three was to completely disable the feature but no luck on just leaving it enabled and unchecking it. This might be a call to Adobe Support.

?!?!?! As a some-time developer, I would say this is impossible. The two must be inextricably linked. How else, other than by reading the registry key, will Acrobat determine whether the box should be checked or not? By cogent thought?!?
