Adobe Acroabt Pro 8 doesn't upgrade to 8.13

Hi,

I have used upgraded Acrobat 8 to 8.13 using the Admin Installation Point. I then used Adobe's Customization Wizard to create a customized transform for the msi. We use CA's Software Delivery to deliver our products. I was able to pull the new MSI and transform in with no problem.

The problem is when I deliver it to the computer the system says that it was delivered successfully but when I check Help/About it says that the product is still at 8, or 8.12.

Has anyone else run into this? What am I doing wrong.

Sequence the RemoveExistingProducts action between the InstallValidate and InstallInitialize action and see if that helps if not already done.

I have an administrative install and I patch the AIP with an msp.

I'm having this same issue. It appears the patch is not being install correctly. In the "About" section of Acrobat it says 8.12, but in add/remove programs it says 8.13. If i run the patches by double clicking them, it seems to work.

AngelD, could you explain how to do what you suggested in the previous post?
