adding a patch
Hi,
I have my cisco client package that works on most machines but on some laptops it disconnects entirely all network connections including Local area network, shared drives, Internet etc... and I found out that the following command line can restore the connectivity
Resetting the TCP/IP stack seems to work.
From a command prompt type:
netsh int ip reset [ log_file_name]
To successfully execute the command, you must specify a log file name where actions taken by netsh will be recorded.
My question is: is there a way I could include this into my MSI?
Thanks
Sam

For other forum users, you may need a 'Connect' log-in to view the response. Anyway, give yourself a treat and marvel at how effective a demonstration is provided by a multi-million dollar enterprise in how not to create a forum/blog/portal. "Hideous" is an adjective I use frequently to describe it...
