Acrobat 6.0 preferences for all users

I want to distribute Adobe Acrobat 6.0 in our windows xp network. According to the FAQ for the Acrobat InstallShieldTuner, there is the possibility to set the user preferences for all users (e.g. the Browser integration) through the windows registry:

Q: How do I migrate HKEY_CURRENT_USER (HKCU) to All Users?
A: [..] It is possible to migrate specific registry settings in HKEY_CURRENT_USER to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, thereby setting certain Acrobat 6 product settings and preferences for All Users. Once these registry keys are created during the deployment of Acrobat to all users, during the first launch of Acrobat, the Acrobat application will look under the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\6.0\Installer\Migrate key and migrate all the registry keys below the Migrate key to the HKCU registry key hive. Once the migration is completed, it will create the registry key “Migrated” under the HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\6.0\Installer\Migrated and at the next launch, it knows not to migrate the same key again.

However, keys that I place under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\6.0\Installer\Migrate are not transferred correctly to HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\6.0., but only produce some cryptic keys directly under HKCU (the key HKCU\..\Installer\Migrated is created correctly). Has anyone used the “migrate key” successfully? Any other suggestions to set the user preferences?

Thanks in advance,

Gunnar

The easiest way if you have AD is to create a custom .ADM with all the HKCU setttings in them. AD will apply them to users when they login.
I've also used the MS active setup method before. If you are interested have a search on the WISE website I think thats where I found it.
