4 different packages contain same file
I have an 4 apps that have the same file name; what can i do so that first file that is installed doesnt get overwritten? pretty much say if this file exist,do not install.

Windows Installer will only overwrite that file if the new file has a date/time stamp greater than that of the already installed file.
Another idea maybe is to move the file into a merge module or simply syncronise the component guids.
