During the installation, it will copy 2 files to "C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temp" and executes them with a silent switch. The 2 files are MMFontSetup.exe and vcredist_x86.exe.
The MMFontSetup will create a PSFONTS directory under the root of the boot partition.
The vcredist_x86.exe is the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable.
They are deleted immediately after the component itself is installed, so you need to be quick to copy it to another place if you wish.
Using WISE Package Studio (WPS) Profession v7.0 with SP2, I have found that the best way to make the msi file is to install the C++ 2005 Redistributable first before you capture the Finale Notepad 2008 installation. This way the WPS will not capture any information related to the C++ 2005 Redistributable, making the final product more manageable.
To deploy, simply install the repackaged Finale Notepad, followed by the vcredist_x86.exe.
