Windows Update not flowing to a Windows 2008 R@ box

Ok, have a 2008 R@ VM it is not getting updates from our SCCM 2012 R2 environment. It is/has:

in a collection that is getting updates form the deployment

in same OU as servers getting updates

RSOP shows it is pointing to SCCM update box

Windowsupdate.log shows it is contacting the SCCM box and finding updates

I have deleted the SUSCLIENTID and SUSCLIENTIDVALIDATION and restarted the service, getting new ones

Scan status by collection report shows it in contact and succeeded in update scan with SCCM box

No updates. Still. Anyone have any suggestions before I pull all my hair out?

UPDATE: This box is showing COMPLIANT when compared to the Update group but it is NOT. Looks like i have 3 or so of these, 2 VMs and 1 physical box.
