Unordered list markdown not working for Knowledge Base articles

I am trying to convert some of our technical documents into knowledge base articles. When I use unordered lists, it does not actually put it into any list form. There are no bullet points or anything. I have tried with the asterisk, a dash, and a plus sign, but I am having no luck. What is the trick for unordered lists?

  • Try your KB article with this Markdown online tool, if it looks fine there, might be something with the Kbox not supporting this? - Channeler 7 years ago

We ran into this also and I contacted support. This is a known issue, defect number K1SD-1944. I was not given an estimate of when it will be fixed besides "a future release"
