Smarter way to install Office products?
Hi all,
I work for a large enterprise organization and we have Office, Project, Visio, etc etc, all 2010. In that we have different variations, such as Standard, Pro and Premium.
Is there a better way to deploy this than to copy Project Pro/Std and Visio Std/Pro/Premium to a network location and deploy it over our zenworks solution? Doing it that way takes a lot of space and doesn't seem very smart...
Any thoughts would be appreciated :)

there is indeed. Have you tried creating a .msp to go with the installers? If you run the setup.exe with the /admin switch it will allow you to create custom .msp that tell Office how to install. Then all you need to do is run the installation command "setup.exe /adminfile "filenameforyourcustom.msp"
Does that make sense lewcianci?
