Ports needed for SMA over wifi

Hello,

What ports need open for wireless communication from the kace server and wireless clients? I can only seem to find info on what is needed for the SMA to function overall.

Our knowledge base articles are a great source of information.

Are you referring to Agentless devices or devices with the Agent installed using wireless networking?

If talking about devices with the Agent installed on a wireless network, this is no different than when on a wired device.

  • Kevin,

That page lists the ports for the SMA to function, but which ports are needed for the agent to communicate with the SMA?

I don't see any listed there. I managed to find

     Port 80 – Agent check-in
     Port 443 – Agent check-in
     Port 139/445 – Agent/Client provisioning
 Port 52230 – Agent AMP Persistent connection

Are these correct? - Cheecho 3 years ago
    • 443 and 52230 for the daily business. All others need for special envs. - Nico_K 3 years ago
