Has anyone managed to get Enterprise Vault (EV) working with Outlook 2003 under App-V?

I've tried so many variations of this now to no avail, separate packages for Outlook and EV, capturing together, removing all exclusion filters, but nothing seems to work.

When running the Outlook as a dependency of EV, I can browse the EV archive, open archived emails etc.
In Outlooks Inbox, for the archived emails I can see their stubs (first 100 or so characters) but when I try to open those emails, either I still only see the stubs or Outlook crashes due to outllib.dll.

We are using EV 7.5, I am hoping the issue is the same no matter which version but it would be our luck that it was particular to the version we have!

Any help you can offer would be most appreciated...
