Dell Updates installed but still recommended

Hello,

We recently rolled out the Dell Updates - Driver Updates to our workstations and are frequently checking the Dell Update Catalog Comparison information to see where things stand. However, we've had some issues and have been installing some drivers manually to try and resolve things. When I check the Catalog Comparison again, it still shows the previous standing. And it did so for 36 hours! Despite my doing a Force Inventory and it running itself several times. 

It wasn't until a day and a half later that the Catalog Comparison showed the workstation updated.

Am I missing something about Dell Updates and Inventory?

Any thoughts appreciated.

  • I've since learned that inventory does not update this information. Detect does. And ours only runs once /day. May need to update that. :)
