Dell K1000 - Userinterface - No device details at "My Computer"


I have in the userinterface no device details at "My Computer".

"Device details were not found for IP Address XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX. Please try again later."

Hope someone can help and has a solution for that. Thanks!

  • I've had the same issue, but specifically when my device is hardwired into the network. When it's on wifi, I get the correct data. This is what Dell said back in March, 2016:

    This is due to the way the current page pulls the IP address from the requesting page.

    This is normally because of a NAT affecting the IP address that is pulled by the browser.

    This can, in some environments, lead to this page not displaying any information.

That usually indicates that the computer you are logged into the user interface from isn't in the K1000 inventory.

    Yeah, that was my first thought too - but in the Kace the PC is displayed in the inventorylist. - svmay 7 years ago

        At the startpage from the userinterface (after logged in) - is the OS displayed on the right side (on the top of the site) - here its windows NT instead of windows 10 ? I'm a little bit confused... - svmay 7 years ago
