Today a number of our client machines started experiencing some strange issues. What appears to have happened is that while our patch settings say that the reboot should be supressed, a number of machines attempted to do a reboot, which caused their office sessions (and windows explorer) to crash and leave the users without a taskbar, desktop, shortcuts, ect. 

We are not sure exactly which patche(s) caused this, but we can see several machines attempted to do a reboot but failed(in one case the machine attempted to reboot several times).


Has anyone else seen anything like this on any recent or previous patching
