App-V Internet shortcut crashes in Xenapp

Hi!

I’m trying to get an internet shortcut working in App-V, the environment looks like this:
We have a couple of XenApp servers with the app-V client installed, the users access the published applications thru a Citrix online plugin on their computers, they don’t open a Citrix Desktop.

Problem: it seems that you need to start Internet explorer once on a XenApp server before you can start an App-V internet shortcut package that uses the XenApp servers IE, or else IE will crash.

Do anyone know what I need to add to the App-V package to prevent IE to crash?

I never start IE when I’m sequencing the package, just add the shortcut: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" "www.site.com/page.html"
I have tried sequencing and start IE but the result is the same.

Ive seen this a lot at the moment as well with App-V 5 SP1. It always seems to crash if you have never run IE before, once you have done all te first run stuff outside of the bubble it seems to work fine.

Ive tried to do some research into it, but google is not yelding too much. Its quite a werid thing. ProcMon comes up with no clues either.

Did you come up with any other info?

Happens on
IE8 - sometimes its ok, but hit and miss
IE10 - always happens.
