Adobe DesignReview CS4 - reduce Size
Using Adobe Manual deployment guide I am able to successfully do a silent install of this package - but the total install size is a little over 5.5GB. Since we use Altiris to distribute packages and all packages are downloaded to local PC before they are install, I need to reduce the size a lot.
I removed all the Non US English folders from payload folder which got the size down to 2.5GB. Once this was done the silent install no longer works. A manual install works. I tried to redo the "setup.exe --record=1" but it will not run from this package.
As usual Adobe isn't helpful in this case.
Anybody have any luck reducing size of install media on this package.
Jesse

I imagine that you'd have to stop the installation of those features associated with the files you want to dump. I don't know how you pass that info to the set-up stub but I'd imagine it's through an XML file.
There must be a deployment guide on the Adobe site, no? Have a search through AppDeploy, as I'm pretty sure a link's been posted in recent days...
