Password Expiration Policy in Office 365

Password Expiration is a method that is used when an organization wants their employees to change their passwords after some regular intervals like after 60-90 days etc.

How to Enable Password Expiration Policies in Office 365

Just follow the steps mentioned in the Video Guide to Enable Password protection in Office 365


 

Why Password Expiration Policy is used

#. Previously it was assumed that it would take around 60-90 days for a computer to crack the average password hash.

#. If an average password can be hacked in 90 days so we should make a habit of changing the passwords after before 90 days.
