xreg.exe and application registration

Hi all,

I am using Novell ZENworks Application Vitualization (ZAV), which is just xenocode rebranded, to create virtual applications. It has been working well but some applications will not register with the OS using the xreg utility. I have turned off the "Quick Scan" setting in ZAV but that didn't help. I am registering the apps with the command line "xreg /allusers C:\Downloads\appname.exe". Some of the apps it doesn't like are OfficeXP, OpenOffice.org 2.3, Firefox, Dreamweaver, Flash (not player), Tux Math, and Tux Typing.

Is there anyway to manually add the missing bits to the application before its built? Or is there someway to check if the bits are all there before I build the app?

Thanks,

I figured out that you can get around this if you do not use the wizard to create the application. Just close it and do it the manual way, which is not difficult, and it seems to work correctly now.
