WiseScript to set a Windows Installer Property

Hi Folks

I need your help. I'm in the middle of creating an msi with a Radio Button dialog (from within WiseScript) to give the users a choice. In the msi I have a few components which should/should not install upon the choice of that dialog.
Here are my questions:
- Where do I need to put the Custom Action (the Radio Button dialog) so that the components properly (don't) install?
- When I put the Custom Action before InstallValidate, why doesn't the dialog appear during a Reinstall even with the Condition set to NOT REMOVE?

Thanks for any help

Roland

Roland,
Place the custom action between Installvalidate and InstallInitialize..
Set a public property in the wise script to be updated depending on the user selection.
Now use this property condition to install the feature or component.

Hope this makes sense and works..[:)]
