Our University is acquiring KACE for imaging and reporting purposes and I will become an admin for it in my department. Hence the need for all the training i can get.

Hands down the Boot Kamp offered on/around the KACE user konference. If you cannot wait that long, I'd recommend going to one of the backyard bootkamps as they come near your region. Compared to the stiff rate they charge for 2 hours of custom training, you really get the most bang for your buck off of the boot kamp. I hope this helps! I also recommend sending your new IT staff when these opportunities come around.

    http://www.kacekonference.com/ - KACE user konference. Between these two choices I'd go to the konference. It's held once annually. Here you will meet with KACE trainers, engineers, and product management teams to get the total picture of where KACE is today, and where it's headed in the next 12 months. Add the boot kamp days to each end of the konference and you'll come back confident about your decision to get into KACE appliances.
  • The jumpstarts are really good too. I would recommend reading through the manual and trying a few things out before going into the sessions. This will help you to figure out which of the material you need more help with and you will have questions ready when it is time to ask them.
