How would *anyone* know? To begin with, you don't say what the application is! Applications store their license information in a variety of ways: some use plain-text, some encrypted. Some will store that data in a registry key, others in a file, others on a server.
It strikes me that the simplest thing is to call the application vendor and provide as much detail as you can to them. They should be able to tell you what type of license and how many you have, one would hope.

Hi aXz,
I completely agree with VBScab. I think you ought to mention the name of the application at the least so any one of us who have come across this application may be able to help you out.
Coming to your question, there are applications that have license key embedded and encrypted in files for e.g. .dat files etc, some put them in the registry. I suggest you even look into the MSI if it is present in the Property table under LICENSEKEY, SERIALNUMBER, etc.
In case this does not help then I think the best possible way would be to contact the Vendor itself. [8|]

I have not worked on AutoCat but i think the first place you must check is the Package Knowledge Base
Please check the following properties in the table or even the verbose log if required
ACADSERIALPREFIX=<nnn>
ACADSERIALNUMBER=<nnnnnnnn>
I found them in the same knowledge base.
Try if this works because i am not sure in what form they would be
