Hi guys

Just wanted to know your opinion over what you all think is the best utility for reading msi-logs
So far im using trace32.exe but is there a better tool out there

WiLogUtl.exe is very usefull - the best Tool for MSI Logs i ever seen

To refer to the best overview tool I agree with Heinz regarding WiLogUtl.
But as your knowledge grows, notepad and doing a search is just as good.

Another tool that may help in some (less) overview is called "MSI Log Parser" which can be found at http://www.slacksoft.org/Prod_MSILogParser.html

I use SMS trace. I find it simple and easy to use. It's dynamic as well, It comes as part of the SMS 2003 Toolkit 2.
